I agree there’s a lot of unchecked misogyny in metal. But it’s not all like that. This is Benedictum vocalist Veronica Freeman, who writes some of the most woman-positive metal on the planet, including a song called “Misogyny” which took the subject on directly and defiantly. She’s definitely one of my hard femme inspirations.
