FAT FEMME CLOTHING SWAP AT MY HOUSE!!!

CALLING ALL SOCAL FAT FEMMES: please join Keena, Kyla, Jenn & Margitte at Margitte’s house for an afternoon of mimosas, baked goods, and femme fatshion exchange in San Diego! Bring your fancy selves, your fatty friends, & your gently used (and clean!) clothing, accessories, and shoes. 

Clothing should be dropped off at Margitte’s house sometime in the week prior to the event or, if transportation is an issue, we can arrange to pick it up from your home. This will help in organizing the clothing before the event. Clothing should be clean and as scent-free as possible.

This swap is for sizes 16 and up, although we recognize that sizing is weird. If it would fit a size 16, but is a size M or a 12 or whatever, please bring it! 

Please note: this swap is explicitly BODY-POSITIVE. There will be absolutely no diet talk or body negativity allowed. All gender identities are welcome and respected. In an effort to create a ‘safer space’ for fat femmes, please only come if you plan to participate in the swap.

*Creme de la Creme* Section:

For those of you that have a particular piece that you can’t bear to part with but don’t use anymore and want to find the perfect new owner for it, please do the following:

Label the item with your name, a short history of the piece and why it’s so dear to you, and what you would like the new owner’s intention (vacation, night time, wedding/special occasion, burlesque costume, etc.) to be. 

If you have something you’ve created yourself and would like to sell it for a small fee, you are welcome to do so in the Creme de la Creme section—just let one of us know ahead of time.

This is for those pieces you love that someone else would enjoy, given a little TLC (think smallish tears, etc).
