No one has mentioned yet that the song "Born This Way" is racist and classist: "Don't be a drag, just be a queen / Whether you're broke or evergreen / You're black, white, beige, chola descent / You're Lebanese, you're orient" Lady Gaga is revolting for lots of reasons...
But on evxxa's original question: an excellent, fucking hard femme, badass band is Pussy Riot.
I also dislike Gaga because she set herself up as the figurehead of All Queers, but really only stands for the rights of and recognition of skinny white gay cismen. She talks so much about the acceptance of said skinny white gay cismen, no mention of trans* people until it is convenient, no support for fat queers, the gender spectrum... just ew. don't publish please.
POC queers and those with disabilities are pretty non existent to her as well

when she was confronted with rumors that she was trans, she responded by saying that “I really am a lady!”. because duh obviously trans ladies aren’t actually women, that would be silly. (glitzruffian )
She also allowed radio stations (and I’m sure myriad other things) to remove the line that mentions “transgender” from her song Born This Way. (sigur-roskolnikov )
She claimed that her “vagina was offended” at the insinuation that she had a penis; also, the “I told you she didn’t have a dick” comment during Telephone, as though trans* bodies can be used for shock value. (starkravingrad)
oh! oh! I have an example of lady gaga being a transphobe! back when people were talking about whether or not lady gaga "has a wiener" she talked about how "her beautiful vagina" was "offended by such an idea" and then proceeded to make the music video for telephone, in which the jail officers strip her down, throw her in her cell, and then walk off saying, "told you she didn't have a dick."

when she is Jo Caledone, she uses duck tape to mask her chest and amkes out like transitioning is this totally easy thing. also doesn’t uses that chance to talk about the transphobia in America and acts like wearing duck tape is not dangerous on the body

Gaga has called herself a "high-heeled feminist" in one of her songs (Scheiße)... but as with every other cause she supports, she seems pretty inconsistent.
